Verbier

The iconic Swiss resort of Verbier, known for its world-class terrain and legendary après ski, counts among the top ski destinations in the Alps. Although quite a sizeable resort, its chalet-style architecture provides all the charm of a large mountain village.

Serious skiing began in Verbier in the 1970s when it linked up with other local villages to create the nation’s largest ski region – Les Quatres Vallées. Today Verbier counts among Europe’s most famous resorts, best known for offering some of the world’s toughest piste skiing and most exciting off-piste skiing.

Saas-Fee

Saas-fee is widely regarded as the ‘pearl of the Alps’ due to the year round glacial skiing coupled with a swiss chocolate box appearance. Saas-fee provides excellent skiing potential from off-piste through to park & pipe, which in the summer is undoubtedly one of the best in Europe.

Don’t let this traditional, car free, Swiss town fool you, the locals have got serious mojo and know how to ski and how to have fun. The opportunities in Saas-fee are endless.

There aren’t many mountains in the U.K. but there is a fantastic opportunity to improve your skiing experience in the mountains at a pre-ski fitness camp with Kim Ingleby (www.energisedperformance.com).
