Skiing to Le Chable from Verbier

If you read some of the press in late November and early December you’d have thought that there was going to be no snow or skiing ever again in Switzerland. Well, the no skiing part might have been right on some days like today but the reason certainly isn’t a lack of snow!

The end of the descent to Le Chable

Yesterday the 'Snowmagaddon’ revisited Verbier and it has been dumping for 24 hours (and also across the rest of the Alps). So much snow has fallen that a lot of lifts were shut this morning and only the nursery slopes Le Rouge and Les Essert were open for skiing. However the off-piste descent from Medran to Le Chable has amazing snow cover and so not to miss out on some skiing we headed downhill directly from Verbier. Excellent fun for all… If you are looking for an adventure this winter then do contact us.
